According to a major survey conducted in Britain, the bed, not the workplace, is the best breeding ground for new ideas.
Also if an employee is given the opportunity to close his eyes for a short period of time, this gives his brain a rest throughout
the workday, and the time that it needs to process information properly and avoid stress creating situations. |

We have altered our working habits and actually encourage people to take a mid-day power nap. "Napping is a natural,
no-cost way to increase worker productivity," says Bob Dimas, President of FOAMITE. "Companies should no longer keep their eyes
closed to the epidemic and inefficiencies caused by sleepiness on the job."

Their mattresses are ergonomically designed and they actually sleep on them after their lunch break. Workers enter a "sleep friendly"
clean environment where no shoes are allowed. They slip under the covers, slip on their headsets, which feature sounds of the

and quality have noticeably improved especially during the latter part of the work day. |

with a hot lemon-scented towel employees feel revived and ready to complete their day. Once you try it and get
used to it you would be surprised as to how long 20 minutes actually is and how refreshed you feel afterwards, says Bob Dimas.
This is different and somewhat enlightening but I truly believe that if you treat people right and do a little more for them in the long run it will pay off for everybody! |
